Man in a wheel chair killed in Toronto fire

A man in a wheel chair has died, after flames erupted in his unit at an assisted living home. Toronto emergency crews were called to Tobias House in the Carlton and Church Street area around 9:30 Tuesday night. The other residents were safely evacuated, but the 44 year old victim succumbed to his injuries. The blaze was contained to the one unit and the Ontario Fire Marshal’s office is investigating.
