Cyclist airlifted to hospital after being hit by a vehicle in Courtice

A 65 year old man is in critical condition in hospital, after he was hit by a car in Courtice on Tuesday afternoon. Durham Police say at about 4:00, the man was riding a bike in the Courtice Road and Bloor area when he was hit by a pick-up truck. The driver of the truck remained at the scene until emergency crews arrived and so far no charges have been laid.
