City of Pickering to break ground on $17-million development

The City of Pickering is growing, as ground was officially be broken Monday on a major new business development. City officials say the $17 million project, which was planned in accordance with Pickering’s sustainability guidelines, will see the construction of five commercial-industrial buildings with a total building area coming in at over 75,000 square feet. The groundbreaking ceremony took place Monday morning on Bayly Street, just west of Brock Road.
