Case of dismembered Toronto woman resumed in court Monday

The 40 year-old man accused in the death and dismemberment of a Toronto woman appeared in court today. Chun Qi Jiang was arrested on August 26th, and faces a charge of second-degree murder in the slaying of his estranged girlfriend, Guang Hua Liu. Liu’s body parts were found scattered in various GTA parks and waterways. The accused was remanded into custody. Police say the pair had a four-year relationship and have deemed Liu’s death a domestic-related homicide.
