Police recant homicide declaration in connection to body found in Toronto apartment building

Toronto police are saying the death of a 65-year-old man inside an apartment Friday morning was not a homicide. The man’s body was found on a balcony at 65 Green Crest Circuit in the city’s northeast end, and police said there were signs of trauma. The case was initially designated a murder, but police changed it to a suspicious death after getting the results of an autopsy. The man’s name has not been released.
