Tim Hudak blames union muscle on lost byelection in Kitchener-Waterloo

Posted by news | Filed under All News Stories, GTA, Politics

Tim Hudak says public sector union support for the NDP — not any lapse in his leadership — was behind his party’s byelection loss in Kitchener-Waterloo.  The conservatives had held  the area for 22-years and Hudak claims the NDP had union “troops” bused in to help them take the riding.  Hudak, dismissed suggestions he resign following the byelection loss.  The Tories also came second to the Liberals in a byelection in Vaughan.
