Fundraising efforts continue at Durham Humane Society

Fundraising efforts are continuing at the Durham Humane Society, as they try and pay off their new shelter. Spokesperson Ruby Richards says they are still in need of about $300,000. When it comes to donations, Richards says any amount is appreciated. Richards says the shelter continues to battle the issue of overcrowding as well. It currently houses about 150 cats and 20 dogs.
