Teens charged after 34 bus shelters in Scarborough, Pickering and Ajax are smashed

Two Pickering teens are facing charges after 34 bus shelters were vandalized over the long weekend. Durham Police allege the two 17 year olds smashed the tempered glass panes of shelters in Scarborough, Pickering and Ajax. They’re also believed to be responsible for 13 incidents of vehicle damage. The cost of the bus shelter damage is well into the tens of thousands of dollars. The suspects are facing a total of 47 mischief charges.
