New Photo Card becomes available to Ontarians

Posted by news | Filed under All News Stories, GTA, Politics

All Ontarians will soon have access to a new form of ID.  The Ontario Photo Card is meant for those who want a photo ID, but don’t drive.  The program was first announced last summer, but currently only about half of the province’s 300 Service-Ontario Centers offer it.  Spokesperson John Friesen says the slow roll-out was to ensure there were no problems.  The province recently announced the photo card will be available at Service Ontario Centres in the Lake Simcoe area in the coming months.
