Back to school road safety top of mind for police

Posted by news | Filed under All News Stories, GTA, Roads

Police across the province say they’ll be focusing on safety in school zones in the coming weeks.  During the first week of school, officers will be paying close attention to traffic in school areas.  In many communities, police say officers will be instructed to take a zero tolerance approach to enforcement.  Police are also advising parents to allow children extra time to either walk to school or catch the bus.
