Police investigate sex assault on TTC bus

Toronto police have arrested a suspect in connection with a sex assault said to have taken place on the TTC in Toronto. Police say on Tuesday, July 31st, at aprroximately 12:15pm, a 38 year old woman was on a TTC bus headed northbound on Islington Avenue from Bloor Street West. Police say a man sat directly behind her and sexually assaulted her. The woman walked to the front of the bus to tell the driver but the man fled. On Thursday, 50 year old Hassam Rahimi of Toronto was charged with sexual assault.
