Ontario’s 24 colleges reach tentative agreement with 10,000 faculty

A tentative agreement has been reached between Ontario’s 24 colleges and their 10,000 faculty members. The two-year deal will see workers’ salaries frozen however their benefits remain untouched. Chair of the Colleges’ Bargaining Team Sonia Del Missier says removing the threat of a disruption is great news for everyone involved. OPSEU had scheduled a strike vote for September 10th.
