Coroner’s office determines remains found on Gardiner Expressway were from a pig

The Office of the Chief Coroner will determine Wednesday if remains found beside the Gardiner Expressway are human or animal. Toronto Police were called to the city’s west end Tuesday afternoon around 5:30, after a motorist reported seeing the remains. Traffic in the area was shut down for several hours because of the investigation.
