Police trying to identify body discovered near Whitby Marina

A body found near the Whitby marina could be linked to a missing boater from three weeks ago. The discovery was made Saturday, but it’s still being determined whether or not the body could be that of a 26 year-old Ajax man. The man and a friend were in a canoe that capsized on Lake Ontario on August 5th. The friend was the only one to make it back to shore.
