Darlington power site gets full marks from the Canadian commission

Posted by news | Filed under All News Stories

OPG is getting a nod for its safety record.  The Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission gave the Darlington station the highest possible rating of “fully satisfactory”, while Pickering was listed as “satisfactory” along with other Canadian nuclear operations.  The facilities are rated based on 14 safety and control areas.  CNSC also credited OPG and the Canadian Nuclear Industry with the actions it took following the 2011 Fukushima accident.
