Posted by news | Filed under All News Stories, Crime, GTA, Toronto

One person is dead and two others are in hospital, after three separate pedestrian accidents in the GTA on Sunday.  Officials say a 34 year old Brampton man was hit by a taxi at Finch and Kenview Boulevard just after 3:00 am.  The driver fled the scene while the victim is listed in critical condition.  Then, shortly before 11:00 pm, a 75 year old man on a bike was hit and killed on Burnamthorpe near Tomkin in Mississauga.  46 year old Jeffery Sanford is facing charges in the case.  And at about 11:30, a woman was hit by a car on Sheppard near Birchmount, in Toronto.  There’s no word yet on her condition.  Witnesses to any of the accidents are urged to call police or Crime Stoppers.
