Three people in hospital following crash in Uxbridge

All three occupants of a car are expected to recover following a serious crash in Uxbridge. Durham Police say around 3:50 p.m. Sunday, a driver lost control of his vehicle on Davis Drive west of Concession 3. The car hit a tree and the 77 year-old driver and his 72 year-old wife were taken to hospital with serious but non life-threatening injuries. Their 44 year-old son was taken to a Toronto trauma centre.
