Construction in full swing on new big box store for Oshawa

Posted by news | Filed under All News Stories, Durham

Full-scale construction is now underway on the new Costco in Oshawa. The store, which is being built in the Ritson and Adelaide area, will be over 146,000 square feet and include a 16 pump gas station. Mayor John Henry says this is a very exciting project for the city, which will have a major impact on the economy. Costco officials have set an extremely ambitious deadline, planning to be open to the public by November. The new location is expected to bring more than 300 jobs.
