Millions of Bumbo baby seats recalled, over potential injury risk

Posted by news | Filed under All News Stories, Durham, GTA, Toronto

More than 4-million bumbo baby seats are being recalled, due to a risk of children suffering serious injury.  Health Canada says without a restraining belt, infants can manoeuvre out of, or fall from the seats and there have been 21 reports in the US, of children suffering skull fractures.  Company officials say the problem can be easily fixed with a restaining belt.  They’re asking owners not to return the seats to the store.  A repair kit can be ordered through the company’s website.  Complete information on the recall can be found by clicking here.
