Man shot in east end Toronto

Emergency crews were called to a shooting in Toronto’s east end on Friday.  Police say at about 1:00 pm, a 19 year old man was shot in the stomach, in the Lawrence and Kennedy area and was found near the tracks at the Lawrence East Scarborough RT Station.  EMS officials say the man suffered serious, but non life-threatening injuries.  No arrests have yet been made.  The suspect is described as white, over six feet tall and was wearing a black baseball hat.  Anyone with information, is urged to call police at 416-808-4100 or Crime Stoppers at 416-222-TIPS (8477).
