Toronto man charged after axe attack

A 64 year old man is facing charges after an attack, involving an axe in Toronto.  Police say the accused assaulted another man with an axe, in the Dundas and Bloor area just before 9:00 Friday morning.  The victim suffered serious, but non-life threatening injuries.  Rallin Edward Lawes has been charged with attempted murder.  Any witnesses are urged to call police at 416-808-1100 or Crime Stoppers at 416-222-TIPS (8477).
