The Durham Regional Police Service is inviting the public out to a property auction this month.  Unclaimed goods, such as bicycles, cell phones, and power tools, will be auctioned off, as well as many other items seized through police investigations that have not been claimed by their owners.  Proceeds will go to local charities.  The auction is being held Friday, August 24th at Grist Mill Auctions in Newtonville.  The preview will run from 2:00 pm until 5:00 pm, with the auction beginning afterwards.
