Search pulled back for missing Ajax man on Lake Ontario

CFB Trenton Air and Sea Rescue have called off their search for a missing canoeist on Lake Ontario.  The 26 year old Ajax man’s canoe, life jacket, and paddles were located yesterday.  On Sunday, August 5th, Durham Regional Police were called after one of two males in a canoe made his way back to shore near the Whitby/Ajax border after their canoe capsized.  The DRP Marine Unit will continue their water search.
