Durham Police investigate sexual assault in Pickering

Durham Police are looking for a suspect after a sexual assault in Pickering. Officials say on Saturday night, a woman was grabbed inappropriately in the Twyn Rivers Drive and Woodview Avenue area. The suspect is described as a white male, in his late teens, stood about 5’10 and had a thin build. He had short, blond, spikey hair and was clean shaven with a slim face and narrow chin. Anyone with information is asked to contact Detective Constable Nancy Accettone of the Major Crime Sexual Assault and Child Abuse Unit at 1-888-579-1520 ext. 5325. There have been similar incidents occurring in Oshawa over the past few weeks, but investigators do not believe they are related.
