Head on collision on QEW ramp leaves two dead and two seriously injured

A two vehicle crash on the eastbound QEW ramp at northbound Highway 427, has left a 49 year old man and his 16 year old daughter dead. The man’s wife is in critical condition at Sunnybrook hospital. Police say the crash occurred around 3 o’clock Sunday morning, when a vehicle driving the wrong way on the ramp struck their minivan. The driver of that vehicle, a 19 year old man, has been arrested on suspicion of impaired driving. He is now in hospital with serious injuries.
