Youth stabbed after altercation in Pickering

Durham police are searching for suspects after a staredown turned to a stabbing Thursday night.  Officials say at about 7:00 p.m. in an area near the Pickering Recreational Complex, a young man was attacked by three or four other males as a verbal spat escalated.  One of the youths had scissors and stabbed the victim who was taken to hospital and later released with 15 stitches. 18 year old Romaro Cameron of Ajax and a 17 year old male from Pickering are charged.
