Police search for suspect in Whitby hit and run

Police are still searching for a suspect who fled the scene after hitting a cyclist in Whitby. On Monday, June 18th at about 4:20pm, a twelve year old boy was riding along the sidewalk of Michael Boulevard towards Burns Street when he was hit by an unknown vehicle from behind. The boy sustained minor injuries and was later released from hospital. Police are asking any witnesses of the incident to come forward.
