Heat alert declared in the City of Toronto

Members of the public are being told to take it easy in the sunlight Thursday. The City of Toronto has declared another heat alert. Officials ask residents to get in touch with family, friends and neighbours who are at a high risk of suffering from heat-related illness. People are also encouraged to limit their exposure to the sunlight and make sure to drink plenty of fluids. For tips on how to beat the heat, click here.
