Premiers disappointed in federal health care changes

Canada’s premiers aren’t happy with the Harper government’s plan to change the way it doles out money for health care to the provinces. The premiers released figures at their annual meeting Friday saying they stand to lose almost 36-billion dollars under the changes. Manitoba’s Greg Selinger says the new scheme reduces Ottawa’s contribution to the health-care costs of provinces and territories to less than 20 per cent.
