Cell phone thefts in Toronto result in charges

A man and woman are facing charges, after a number of people in Toronto had their cell phones stolen. Toronto Police say the suspects would drive up to someone with a cell phone and ask to make an emergency call. Once the cell phone was in the suspect’s hands, they would drive off. 29 year old Jermain Gardiner and 20 year old Jakeela Tynes are facing robbery charges.
