Officer won’t face charges in June car crash

The Special Investigations Unit has wrapped up an investigation into a vehicle crash involving a Toronto Police officer. On June 18th, a marked cruiser, on its way to a homicide, collided with a vehicle being driven by a 22 year old Ajax man. After a lengthy investigation, the SIU has concluded that the officer was in the lawful execution of her duties, and will not be charged.
