Canadian cable providers given the green light to offer more flexible packages

TV watchers, tired of paying for channels they do no use, may soon get some relief. The CRTC has given its blessing to a proposal by Bell and Telus to introduce more flexible TV packages. The CRTC says individual channels may end up costing more, however customers should end up paying less in the long run because they’ll be paying for fewer channels.
