Greenpeace issues concerns over the new nuclear build in Darlington

Greenpeace is up in arms at the proposed new nuclear build in Darlington. Members were in Oshawa Thursday, upset over, what they say is a lack of a public nuclear emergency plan, and they want the McGuinty government to address this issue before build plans begin. Nuclear Analyst with Greenpeace, Shawn-Patrick Stensil calls it irresponsible. Stensil says there is a nuclear disaster every 10 years around the world, and it’s naive to think it won’t happen in Durham Region.
