Man suffers serious injuries after jumping from a moving vehicle in Oshawa

A 41 year old man was rushed to hospital with serious, but non-life threatening injuries after he apparently jumped from a moving vehicle in Oshawa. Durham Police say around 5:15 a.m. Tuesday, the man, who was intoxicated, was being driven home, when he jumped out of the vehicle in the King and Stevenson area. The man’s foot was severed and he was taken to a Toronto hospital for surgery. No one else was injured. The investigation is ongoing.
