Construction on Costco in Oshawa set to get underway

Posted by news | Filed under All News Stories, Business, Durham

Construction on the new Costco in the Ritson and Adelaide area of Oshawa is expected to get underway Monday. Councillor John Aker says the city helped to fast track the process for the big box store, and the contractors recently took out their building permits, worth $15 million. Aker says they have an ambitious deadline and hope to open this November, creating over 300 jobs. Meanwhile, there’s more development in the area, as a new postal distribution centre is going in across the street.

Where is this Costco going? You reference the area and a postal centre going in across the street but you make no mention of the location in the article…

The article says at Ritson and Adelaide. It’s being built on the south-west corner.
