Building permit sales up in the City of Oshawa

June was a positive month for building permit sales in Oshawa. The city sold a total of 135 permits, up from 120 for the same period last year. Construction value for those permits was also up to more than $51 million. The city reached a new June record with the highest construction value for permits sold in the commercial sector, which included a $15.2 million permit for the construction of a Costco store at Adelaide and Ritson.
