Gas prices climbing ahead of the weekend

Posted by news | Filed under All News Stories, Business, Durham, GTA, Toronto

The price of gasoline is climbing this weekend. According to TomorrowsGasPriceToday.com the price at the pump is going up 0.4 cents a litre on Saturday to an average cost of 127.7 cents a litre in the GTA. Gas guru Dan McTeague says supply is up and demand is down and there’s no valid reason for the increase. Meanwhile, McTeague says Durham Region continues to benefit from increased competition and motorists should be able to fill up for between 119 cents a litre, and 121 cents.
