Toronto Police investigate apartment break-in near York University

Posted by news | Filed under All News Stories, Crime, Toronto

Police in Toronto are investigating another problem near York University. Officials say officers were called early Thursday morning, after a woman reported a man had broken into her apartment, which is on Assiniboine Road. The victim wasn’t hurt in the incident and the suspect fled the scene. Questions are still being raised about security at York, as earlier this week, a 20 year-old man was arrested in connection to several sex assaults that had taken place at the school’s campus.
