Crash in Scarborough sends two people to hospital

A single-vehicle crash in Scarborough has sent two people to hospital with serious injuries. Police say the crash occurred last night on Markham Road near McNicoll Avenue just after 10:00 p.m. Reports say the car slammed into a utility pole. Both people are expected to recover.
