Mississauga man faces charges after assaulting an officer

A 25 year old Mississauga man is facing charges after a police officer and a bystander were assualted during a traffic stop in Vaughan.  Police say the driver of a car that was pulled over on Tuesday got out of the vehicle and refused to identify himself to police.  When the officer placed the man under arrest, police say he resisted and assaulted the officer and a bystander who came to the officer’s aid.  Ryan Evans is charged.
