Posted by news | Filed under All News Stories, Crime, Durham, GTA, Toronto

Many motorists were in a hurry this long weekend, as the OPP laid over 5,000 charges for speeding. Another alarming trend was a high number of tickets handed out for seatbelt related offences. In total, there were over 8,700 laid on the roads, another 135 on waterways and 26 on provincial trails. Sadly, there were also four fatalities on OPP patrolled areas.
