Crash forces road closure in Richmond Hill

York Regional Police say a serious collision involving a motorcycle and taxi cab in Richmond Hill had the motorcyclist rushed to hospital with life threatening injuries Sunday morning. That person has now been pronounced dead by officials. In happened at about 6am at the intersection of Leslie Street and Highway 7 – the road is now closed for investigation. Police say the closure is expected to last until approximately 2 p.m.
