Pickering farmers market plans to donate to charity

A local farmers market is hoping to help a lot of area food banks. The second annual Pickering market opened this week at the Pickering Town Centre and people are encouraged to bring non-perishable food items which will be given to St. Paul’s on the Hill and the Salvation Army food banks. The farmers market is located in the east parking lot of the mall and will run every Tuesday until October 16th from noon until 7pm.
