West Nile virus arrives in Durham Region

West Nile virus has arrived early in Durham…health department officials say mosquitos collected in Oshawa have tested positive for the virus. So far, no human cases have been found, however manager for Environmental Health, Laura Freeland, says people are reminded to protect themseves. The virus doesn’t usually appear until late July or August.
