SIU clears Toronto Police officer in death of 31 year old man

Posted by news | Filed under All News Stories, Crime, GTA, Toronto

The Special Investigations Unit has concluded that a Toronto Police Officer will not be charged with a criminal offence in the death of a 31 year old man.  Earlier this month, Toronto Police were called to an apartment building for reports a car had been broken into.  When they located the suspect in a 15th floor apartment, the man allegedly jumped out the window to his death.  The officer has been found in no way responsible for the demise of the man.
