Dog owners in north Oshawa charged with neglect

Posted by news | Filed under All News Stories, Crime, Durham

A reminder from the Durham Humane Society, do not leave animals in vehicles or outside in extreme heat like we experienced last week. This warning comes after a dog was rescued from a north Oshawa home, where it had been left tied up outside all day. Investigator Debbie Houghton says the dog was in shock and unable to walk, but is slowly recovering. Houghton says if the dog was left outside for another 10 minutes, he would have died.  The owners are being charged with animal neglect.

Seriously, what is wrong with people. I can’t stand hearing about how stupid people keep getting away with such cruelty to animals. Poor dog, hopefully it is not being returned to those nutbars.
