Posted by news | Filed under All News Stories, GTA, Toronto

Police are looking for witnesses after a collision that happened at Lansdowne and Seaforth Avenue just after 8:00 Thursday night.  Police say a 33 year old man was parked in a Ford Econoline Van on the west side of Lansdowne when he began driving southbound.  A 24 year old woman was attempting to slide open the cargo door when the vehicle pulled away from the curb, but she hung onto the door until she lost her footing and fell, and was struck by the car.  She is now in hospital with serious, life-threatening injuries.  Anyone with information is urged to call police at 416-808-1100.

Hi, i just witness a minor collision on finche and Cherokee blvd at around 08:30 today on Oct 30 2012. I was in the ttc bus 199, There was traffic ahead, so the bus driver switched to the left lane, at the same time there was white Van which was ahead of the bus and trying to to switch the lane, but seeing the bus already in the lane stopped. Thus causing the bus to scrape or break his left mirror. The ttc driver had not check the right mirror of the bus, to see how close he was to the van. In a minute he stoped another ttc bus and put us all in. This is what I saw.
