RBC economists predict a strong economic rebound for Canada in 2012

Economists are predicting that Canada will shirk global economic turbulence, and have a strong rebound starting this year. The Royal Bank has issued its latest quarterly forecast, predicting the economy will grow 3.1 percent this quarter, ending in June, and a record GDP growth of 2.6 percent for both 2012 and 2013. The report is considered surprising given the continued troubles in Europe, China and the US.
