$22 million is coming into Canada’s automotive community. The country’s automotive research program, Auto 21, has lent its support to 40 different research and development projects at Canadian universities. UOIT Associate Professor, Dr. Moustafa el-Gindy says the money will be used to develop better safety devices for cars and trucks. The funding will support the projects for two years and includes $10 million from the federal government.
