A man who was charged with human trafficking and kidnapping offences has been sentanced to almost nine years in prison.  31 year old Omar McFarlane was sentenced in May of this year in a Brampton court.  McFarlane met his vicims while they were working as exotic dancers, entered into a sexual relationship with them, and eventually kidnapped them at gunpoint for the purposes of being trafficked into the sex trade.  Peel Police began investigating McFarlane’s activities in 2009.
